Mountain Bike, May 2007 - "Because it weighs a little more than 26 pounds, you might think the Canaan Elite is beefy for an XC racer - until you start to hammer and realize the suspension is so dialed and the spec is so dead-on that the Canaan Elite is perfectly race-ready out of the cardboard. The slightly relaxed (69.5-degree) head angle isn't as aggro as that of some pure race bikes, but that's all to the good, because the Canaan Elite is meant to be the ideal 24-hour machine - a mellower head angle doesn't steer as nervously as a steeper one, and consequently is more forgiving of fatigue-induced brain fade.
