Ellsworth steepened the head tube to give it a much shorter wheelbase than most 29ers and it now "rides like a bike instead of a log truck" as one rider pointed out. It has a very low standover height on all the models which allows the buyer to make their selection based on cockpit (top tube) length. This lower standover height also allows smaller framed riders to get on the 29er train. What more can you ask for? An Ellsworh ICT linkage 29er!*

Another Ellsworth bike utilizing the ICT 4 bar suspension design, this bike is AWESOME!!! We all knew that Ellsworth needed a bike that had the travel of the Id, but in a beefier design - thus the Id. Big gussets, beefened rear end, and more standover height. This thing was designed to make your buddies eat your dust on an uphill, or a 4' drop. The frame is constructed of custom-butted, shaped, 5 axis CNC machined aluminum and high modulus carbon fiber (rear rocker crossmember) it is still lighter than anything in its class, and yet ultradurable. Go ahead, your other bikes'll understand.

New for 2007 - the Ellsworth Truth now has more standover clearance, thanks to a lowered top tube/sweet gusset at the top tube/seat tube joint. It also features a re-designed chainstay piece with an asymetrical design - what does this do you ask? What it does is keep the rear even stiffer than the previous versions & also adds additional strength. Rocker pieces hae also been strengthened for '07.
A 7.5" eye to eye rear shock alters the leverage on the rear shock to smooth out the suspension a bit more, but more importantly it puts less stress on the frame and rear shock. The Truth is also being shipped with a new rear deraileur hanger which is longer. This is for more room from the top of the rear deraileur to the cassette.
Fully sealed cartridge bearings on every pivot, its available in cool colors, and has laser etched logos instead of decals. They also have an internally routed rear deraileur cable that is trick! 4 hot colors available with black rears/silver rockers & all are disc specific.*
